About the tour
- Children up to 6 years old ride free.
- Controlled visits: the island takes up to 800 people a day, only between 9am and 5pm.
- City visitor ticket required for every visitor, fee on request, which varies by day and is already included in the estimated price. It can't be rescheduled or refunded, even if the visit is cancelled because of rough seas.
- Trails only with a guide accredited by IPHAN, paid separately on the island (fee on request).
- In rough seas or bad weather, visits are suspended.
- Required: an ID document at boarding.
Archaeological heritage: help preserve it
Ilha do Campeche is protected by IPHAN and holds rock carvings and stone workshops made by peoples who lived here thousands of years ago. To keep it open to visitors:
- Take all your trash back with you, including cigarette butts and fruit peels.
- Don't touch or climb the carved rocks.
- Don't feed the coatis or bring plants or animals.
- No camping or barbecues.
